Scenic Ireland Walking Tours Entertainment
Athlone has many fine entertainment facilities including IMC cinema, Dean Crowe Theatre which hosts the All ireland Drama festival annually and has regular shows throughout the year.
Other activities and attractons include bowling, Athlone leisure centre , Viking river cruise, excellent restaurants and pubs that cater for music to suit all tastes including traditional, jazz etc. There are two shopping centres that include some of the leading high street stores.
Kinnitty Castle has regular traditional Irish music sessions and if you stroll down to the bar in" The Monks Kitchen" you will be entertained by some of Irelands great story tellers. Nearby Kinnitty village has some great pubs where you can entertain the locals with your repertoire or if you are too modest then you can just join in the chorus like the rest of us.
