Q: Do I need to be fit?
A: Our walks are between 8 km and 13km ( 5miles and 8 miles) a day and range from approx 300ft to 1300ft. You should try a couple of such walks in your own area before you set out on your holiday to gauge your level of fitness. A person of average fitness should have no problem with the walks.Our aim is to enjoy the scenery and explore the countryside at a modest pace.
Q: What are the trail grade definitions?
A: We would catagorise our walks as either easy or moderate...

Easy: On mostly flat surfaces with some hills and hollows.

Moderate: A mixture of all kinds of terrain but not too steep
If you have any medical condition or are unsure of your fitness to carry out walks, contact your doctor prior to committing.
Q: What are walking groups like?
A: Groups are small and friendly with different nationalities,compromising of single people,couples,groups etc.
Q: Can I join for a couple of days?
A: Yes you are more than welcome to stay 2,3,4 or 5 days. See breakdown on schedule of dates.

Q: Is Accomodation included?
A: Yes, full catering at 4 star Athlone Springs Hotel. Two nights dining out in fashionable Athlone Restaurants.
Q: Do I need Insurance?
A: It is strongly advisable to have insurance for personal injury,cancellation ,baggage,travel and personal liability. Scenic Ireland Tours or its agents cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury while on tours.
Q: How do I book a Tour?
A: Decide on tour, fill in booking form forward 150 Euro deposit and remainder upon arrival.
